Born July 14th 1987, Jamie Skeen born and raised in Carthage, TN established the Artist name "JSKEEN" in Mid 2007 and founded a sound of Urban Hip Hop/Rap/R&B and Mainstream Music.
"You Must Fail To Be Successful" is a favorite quote that JSKEEN made and has used to peruse his dream of becoming a icon. Jamie has not had a "Hard Life" or is not a "Gangster" as many others claim, JSKEEN does not tell lies about his background nor within his music. He is a "Self Made" powerhouse of talent expanding from music creativity, graphic design, website design, and promotion. He does everything "Solo", on his own. JSKEEN is currently engaged, living at home in Tennessee with his girlfriend and daughter. Jamie has 2 older siblings, a sister and a brother. His parents were divorced in 2009, they reside in separate location in middle TN. Music has been Jamie's dream since 2006 when he started making remixes of top music to have a new sound. JSKEEN Graduated from Smith County High School, Carthage, TN in 2006. He was inspired to do something besides work in a factory his entire life, so music is was.. he bought a microphone and cheap recording program and started writing and recording his own music. Jamie released his first two mix tapes in 2007 titled "Don't Judge Me" and "Judgment Day" followed by the 2009 release "C-Town Phamous" after being recognized by all who thought he would fail. In 2010, Jamie felt as if he has made it to his ending, and could not get any further with music and was tempted to give it up, he laid everything down for about 2 months, the forwarding progression and inspiration of Brabo Gator pushed JSKEEN to continue perusing his dream. Jamie them attempted to Contact Brabo with a bribe to build a website in return of some promotion, the following month as the inspiration and hard work continued, unbelievably, The two artist made a song, which leads us to the 2010 release "Notice Me Now" Hosted by Brabo Gator. From here, we will see what the road ahead awaits for him. |
